We are a small shop located on the Pacific side of Panama, Central America.
The diving business is starting to build up but is not sufficient in itself to support the shop. Hence, we have a variety of watersports activities to bring in sufficient income and provide activities for tourism in our area.
We are the only licensed tour operator in our area.
Our sports shop is located in a small hotel, which we also own and is a PADI Resort. We own two 27′ boats and charter a variety of other local boats as needs dictate. The hotel has a pool for confined water training and DSD.
We are looking for a mature person who is skilled in the following areas,
Dive Instruction… DSD through DM (newly
certified OK)
Dive Tours (guide)
Kayak Tours (guide)
Sport Fishing and Fishing Equipment.(Sell)
Surfing Instructions
Turtle Watching Tours (sell and transport no exp. needed)
Spearfishing (guide and sales)
Boat Operation (twin engine-center console)
Boat / Engine Maintenance
Compressor Maintenance
Tank Fills
Tank Inspection (desired but not required)
Dive Equipment maintenance
Able to operate a 15 passenger van
Team Player
The person we are looking for would, in their spare time, work the internet to promote and build the business therefore computer and marketing skills are required.
We offer a rental house with water and a limited electric service.
Must be multi-lingual in at least English and Spanish.
Salary would be a monthly salary and commission with a perfomance based bonus.
