We are looking for a Divemaster/Marine Biologist for one of our dive and water sports operations based in a luxury 5 star resort in the Maldives.
Reporting to the Base Leader, the successful applicant will have a proven track record as a Divemaster, guide and Marine Biology expert. He or she will be a hard worker, highly motivated and flexible with impeccable customer service skills, plenty of initiative and the ability to successfully work in a team.
Main duties include providing enjoyable, informative and safe instruction and guidance during diving, snorkeling and other activities with a Marine Biology focus. Organizing and conducting occasional presentations will also be part of the job but much of the time will be spent in the water teaching and guiding resort guests. Since we cover all the water based activities (fishing, water sports, excursions etc) a flexible approach to work is essential as guest relations, helping with excursions and boat handling, retail sales, equipment maintenance and general dive base housekeeping will also be part of the daily routine.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• BSc in Marine Biology or equivalent degree (alternatively a proof of sound knowledge
and expertise is required, with min 3 years of practical experience in marine biology

We are a small but very busy dive resort in Cabo Pulmo, Mexico. We are located on the northernmost coral reef on the west coast of North America. Home to a huge and diverse variety of marine life. This coming year we are making the move to 5 Star IDC Center, and need to make some additions to our staff.
We’re looking for the right two people to fill these spots. What we are looking for is:
- DM/OWSI with administration experience. This person will be responsible for the resort and dive center administration.
For example:
- Answering emails and the telephones
- Organizing reservations/scheduling for both the diving and resort
- Scheduling the housekeeping
- ETC…
This person must be fluent in English, and able to converse in Spanish.
Don’t worry, you will get to go in the water. We will also call on your skills as a DM/OWSI to guide dives and snorkeling tours when needed
