We are a busy resort year round and are often rated as one of the best operations in the Caribbean. You will be required to take on various roles such as teaching courses, guiding dives, pumping tanks etc….. everything needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

There is one grocery store, one gas station..a couple of resorts and now even a Dunkin Donuts, but little else… except the best diving on Grand Cayman!!!

We are looking for a PADI Instructor to join our team. You will have a strong work ethic, a high regard for customer service, strong attention to detail and of course a good sense of humour.

You should be physically fit, English should be your primary language, be between the ages 25-35, hold a valid driving license and be a non-smoker.

We offer a competitive monthly salary, gratuity share, contribution to medical plan and after a qualifying period, contribution to an offshore pension….. and 2.5 days off per week!!

Also, for the right individuals, we can offer advancement in teaching credentials under the tutelage of our permanent CD or training to be one of our Boat Captains.

Dive Centre Attendant in Maldives

We are looking for newly qualified Divemasters for a Dive Centre Attendant position. This is not a full time DM position, so your job would be balanced between guiding/diving, equipment care, tank filling, handing out the snorkeling equipment and shop/office duties. This job position is for those that are looking to gain experience in the industry before they go for the IDC (there will be an IDC in Maldives in April and it is fairly cheap compared to other places)

Requirements:
DM certificate,
Minimum 2 european languages (german, italian, french, russian), however applicants with 3 languages will have the advantage.
Less than 28 years.
Advantage will be given to female applicants (please don`t apply if you cannot lift a tank or equipment box)
Since this is an entry position in the dive centre, salary and conditions are basic.
250$ a month
Service charge (between 300$ and 450$)
Over time (around 50$)
Full board,
4 shared accommodation
15 days of annual leave

You will be responsible for maximising sales and for quality client care over a variety of Worldwide and Red Sea dive destinations and products. You will have a good standard of written and spoken English, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be passionate about travel and / or diving.

This is an ideal position for someone who has travelled and / or worked abroad and is committed to establishing a life in the UK, or for someone in the travel industry who would like to work in a smaller team and be involved in more aspects of the travel business in a highly varied role.

Previous experience of working in the travel industry and a professional level diving qualification is desirable for this position.

THE PACKAGE:

Dive Resort Manager Needed

We are looking for either a single person or a couple to become part of our management team. This can be a challenging and is a high profile position. We require the person to be a strong leader, creative with a lot of drive and ambition and to be able to think on your feet. The dive centre is a PADI 5 * Resort situated in one of Zanzibar’s leading 5 * resorts.
Skills needed
Effective problem solving skills and decision making
Ability to get hands on with all maintenance and mechanical operations
Experience on repair and maintenance of Mercury EFI motors and Scubapro equipment
Very high confidence level in whatever you do
Be computer literate, work, excel, publisher and photo shop
Imperative to have attention to detail
Have financial management skills
A proven track record of successfully managing a busy dive centre (at least 3 years experience)
Ability to insist on and achieve the high standards of safety and customer care required
Excellent time management and staff coordination
Strong sales abilities
Padi MSDT or higher certification
Additional Skills
Any additional languages, must speak English. French or Italian a plus
Previous work experience in Africa
Able to live in a remote location

Dive Centre Manager

A new opportunity has arisen for a Dive Centre Manager to join Emperor’s PADI (5* CDC) in Egypt.

Responsibilities include the coordination of boat and shore diving activities, management of staff (including instructors, admin and local staff), running the centre (including shop, training facilities, equipment and compressor room) and working alongside head office functions including Accounts and Reservations.

This is a challenging and high profile role and is certainly not a 9 – 5 job! It is essential that the successful person is a strong leader, creative and has drive and ambition. At least 2 years experience of managing a busy (medium to large) dive centre and a minimum certification level of MSDT is required.

Strong leadership and management skills, a proven track record of business development and customer care are prerequisites for the role. In addition, the ability to insist on and to achieve, the highest standards of safety, service and customer care is vital.

The position will be offered on a 1 year contract, but ideally we require someone who is committed to a minimum of 2 years in the post.

Shore Excursions Assistant required in Grand Cayman

We are a busy dive shop in Grand Cayman looking for an outgoing, energetic person to join the Shore Excursions team.

The primary role of the position is to dispatch cruise ship passengers to their tours and collect payments aboard the cruise ships. Other duties may include assisting with correspondence from the cruise lines, helping in the dive shop and assisting with admin/reservations.
