We are looking for a suitabley qualified science coordinator for our Marine expedition operation on Mahe in the Seychelles.
Qualifications needed:
PADI divemaster or above,
Degree in marine biology or equivalent;
Boat driving licence.
Driving licence.
Research and report writing skills.
We teach 24 volunteers at a time how to identify either 40 coral species or 100 fish species. Using scuba we survey 36 reefs every four months. Your job will be to teach them how to do this along with the eight other staff working on our base. Plus assist with report writing and help with the many duties that running a large base with 35 people on it entails including cooking, cleaning, commeres duties, maintenance to name a few.
The hours are long and the work is often hard but very rewarding. You will live on base in shared accommodation.
The pay is not good at $100 a week.
