A private island off the coast of Zanzibar is looking for a couple to run its diving and watersports department. Both should be instructor level and at least one half of the successful couple would be a minimum of MSDT and EFR instructor with at least 3 years experience working in the dive and hospitality industries. The lodge operates 12 rooms to a very exclusive clientele and therefore demands only the most professional of instructors. The couple must be highly presentable, have a wealth of knowledge, be passionate about the underwater world, able to work and communicate with a vast range of people from all walks of life and ideally have experience living and working on small islands far from civilisation. Other advantages would be languages (English is essential, other European languages an advantage), knowledge of photography, equipment & boat maintenance, windsurfing, fly-fishing and a hotel/F&B background. This is far more than just another diving job with potential for cross-over into lodge management for the right people. The lucky couple would have to be available from May 2010.
