We are looking for a Scandinavian Shop Sales-person for the coming high-season.
The person we are looking for is self-driven, who can take the initiative and make decisions on the spot. We want a great team-player, who is able to work closely together with all our other staff. We strive to provide the highest possible service, quality, safety and comfort for all our guests, when we are conducting our trips around the Ao Nang Archipelago and the Phi Phi Islands or when they are coming into our dive shop.
This is a non diving position. It involves working with other staff in our busy dive shop selling courses, daily dive trips, snorkelling trips and live-aboard trips. Also controlling bookings from agents and selling diving equipment. Also as part of the team you will be expected to assist with keeping the shop area clean and tidy too.
We are looking for a great sales person, who has a passion for the underwater world.
We will also be expecting you to come to Thailand around 1st November.
Minimum requirements:
1) Superb sales skills.
2) Knowledge of diving and snorkeling, diving experience is preferred.
3) Out going happy personality with great people skills and a smiley face!
4) Able to communicate in English, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. Other languages are an advantage.
5) Computer skills.

We are one of Thailand’s leading eco-dive centers and has received many awards for our commitment to the marine environment.
We are expecting to grow in the near future and for the right person this will be a great opportunity.

Urgent OWSI for Cambodia marine conservation project

This scuba diving job is for a 3 month pilot project in Cambodia and need an experienced OWSI + EFRi for a 3 month contract starting 20 July 2009. The position is voluntary and unpaid. We cover all food, accommodation and work related expenses.

The project will focus on habitat mapping the islands off the west coast of Sihanoukville in the gulf of Thailand. It is remote and will be challenging.

Ideal candidate will have at least 20 certs and preferably some dive shop/resort management experience. Position most suited to persons with a strong conservation ethic.
