Experiences instructor needed ASAP in Andaman Islands, India!

We are one of the leading dive operations/watersport centers in the country, with our own resorts on Havelock Island and coming dive centers in Port Blair and Wandoor.

As we grow we have a position open for a hard-working, committed, dedicated and passionate person (not couple!) who would like to join our team of local and foreign experienced instructors. Previous experience in teaching/guiding in all conditions is needed.

We are looking for someone who is looking for a commitment over at least a full season. You will need to be fit and healthy and enjoy diving as we in the high season dive every day, sometimes 3 to 4 dives a day. Also you are required to be well groomed with a professional appearance.

Preference will be given to those instructors who can meet the most of the following requirements:

1. Minimum 1 year teaching experience
2. Female (to balance the gender amongst our dive staff).
3. Languages (any languages is a plus).
4. Good interpersonal skills
5. Good team player – not afraid of hard work (we work very hard at times)
6. Customer service experience
7. Smart appearance (no excessive tattoos or piercings)
8. Are able to live on a small paradise island in India
9. Who already is in their home country (you can only apply for a employment visa to India from your home country).
10. German, British or French nationals as it seems to be easier to get Employment Visa there.
11. Who have something extra to offer (powerboat license, mechanic with diesel or outboard engines and so on).

You will need to be fit and healthy and enjoy diving as we in the high season dive every day, sometimes 3 to 4 dives a day. Also you are required to be well groomed with a professional appearance.

We have expanded into the Andaman Islands, probably the last major chain of islands that remain unexplored in this world. We need a PADI professional with minimium STAFF INSTRUCTOR qualifications who is business savvy, can deal with selling to dive centres, hands on as a manager at the IDC Centre, can lead an ambitious diversification program within the realm of scuba diving and related water sports and is keen on exploring for new dive sites. Her/his responsibilities will include:
· Set targets for the entire company and push team to achieve them, like a Chief Operating Officer or General Manager
· Oversee management of Inland Dive Centre at Bangalore
· Providing leadership and management to successfully grow a Professional level and recreational level scuba diving training, Dive Equipment Wholesale and Retail business as well as new verticals such as Liveaboards and other related businesses.
· Marketing to specially identified target groups of customers and deal with new and existing customers.
· Undertake promotional events to sustain the Andamans and the country’s interest in diving
· Promote a Dive tourism and Professional Level Training business across the world to maximise business opportunities for Planet Scuba India.
