Instructor needed in beautiful Maui Hawaii!!
We are looking for OWSI or higher to fit into our team. We are the biggest shop in the state of Hawaii, and only on Maui. We have 8 shops on the island and teach out of 2 the rest all book clients for us. This position is a teaching position the break down of jobs is as follows 40% of work is DSD’s 30% teaching classes or check out referrals 10% tune-ups or refreshers 20% leading certified divers. We also work off our dive boats when needed as guides and teach off our new 65’ sailing cat. When we are busy we work a lot we have schedule for 2 am dives 2 afternoon dives and a possible night dive. We currently have an opening for a full-time instructor position, which would involve teaching courses from PADI Open Water all the way to PADI Divemaster. Ability to teach PADI Diver Specialties would be preferred, but it is not required. Retail sales experience is a definite plus. Potential opportunities for management of various aspects of operations and Dive Club activities. We are a busy shop and run courses year round catering to both a local and visitor client base. Opportunity for Captain, Instructor, and Dive Staff in Oahu, Hawaii
This Scuba Diving job is for the following positions, as we have a number of positions available at the moment. Captain: 3-5 days a week, $14/hr, 50 ton minimum. Willing to support our Con Ed and gear ownership programs. PADI DMs and Instructor ratings a bonus. Retail Store staffing and possible management, instructors preferred. Main duties would be running one of our two dive shops, evenings and weekends must be available. Hourly plus commission. Excellent computer skills a must. We are also interested in applicants with database management, e commerce, website design skills. Inventory management experience a plus. EVE experience a plus. Some light instruction and boat staffing duties to maintain customer diving relationships.
