We’re looking for two PADI instructors to work alongside the two owners to deliver the best possible diving experience to our divers, and maintain the strong reputation The Dive Bus has earned. This includes any and all aspects of the day to day running of, and working in, a dive shop, including retail, admin, logistics, servicing, maintaining the building, grounds and vehicles, as well as guiding dives and teaching.
This is a great way to gain useful experience if you’re hoping to become a Dive Shop Manager or have your own dive shop in the future.
The ideal instructors will have lots of initiative, a friendly, outgoing personality and outstanding customer-service skills. A positive and willing attitude is more important than previous experience (cert-counters and prima donnas need not apply). Additional skills such as administration, mechanics and/or carpentry are a huge bonus.
In addition to the above, the instructors MUST:
be current, renewed and insured
speak and write fluent English; Dutch and/or Spanish is a bonus
be minimum 23 years old
hold a clean, valid drivers license, be experienced and comfortable driving a 15 passenger vehicle

We are opening a small shop on a remote island in the South of Vietnam, on Con Dao Island.
We are an SSI shop, but will consider a PADI D.M. if you are willing to crossover.
We are a small operation, with a new boat that will have a capacity of 25 divers.
All new equipment, new boat, small staff and hope to have a friendly family oriented environment.
The island is remote and idyllic. We have access to 10 dive sites and hope for ten more as we develop the location. We will be working closely with the National Park, so a healthy respect for the environment is important as well as respect for the local culture.
We are PROFESSIONALS, safety is the first consideration.
We STICK to STANDARDS.
Basic English is mandatory, French is useful and Russian a plus but not necessary for the right candidate.
What we are prepared to give.
Health and accident insurance. A living wage, plus commissions on bookings. Housing and meals. Good diving year round, though we have a rainy season in November thru January. Incredible discounts on equipment. (We are a distributor for a major O.E.M. supplier) Year round employment. Any additional training we can provide for cost. Lots of days off as we are coming into the rainy season. 8 hours shop time, doing rentals and bookings when the boat does not go out. 3 hours shop time when it does this will be rotated among the western staff. A day off per week, but if we are busy that will have to be saved for the time when we are not. Annual bonus if we actually make money. (which I do expect !)

Professionalism in all regards, enthusiasm, pleasant attitude, NO DRUGS,( Immediate termination). Minimal drinking. Smokers are o.k., everybody smokes here. No excessive piercings or tattoos.
Let me be clear, this place is pretty remote…though we do have internet.
There are few cheap local restaurants, though there are several 3-4 star resorts, and about 12 small hotels.
This place will develop dramatically in the next year or two as there are 1000 more hotel rooms being built.
All most all of the island is national park, as are the 16 small surrounding islands.
If you are the type who likes to kick back and read a book, (Bring your own, there are none here!) or go hiking this is the place for you. If you are a party person forget about it.

We are looking for a suitabley qualified science coordinator for our Marine expedition operation on Mahe in the Seychelles.
Qualifications needed:

We teach 24 volunteers at a time how to identify either 40 coral species or 100 fish species. Using scuba we survey 36 reefs every four months. Your job will be to teach them how to do this along with the eight other staff working on our base. Plus assist with report writing and help with the many duties that running a large base with 35 people on it entails including cooking, cleaning, commeres duties, maintenance to name a few.
The hours are long and the work is often hard but very rewarding. You will live on base in shared accommodation.
The pay is not good at $100 a week.
